Questions are rising : are those cheap Iphones for real? What’s the trick? “Everything looks so right, so perfect ” Many questions but saddly just one answer.
Few days ago, a supplier from Shenzen, the capital of electronic, contacted me offering the best, Apple and other Samsung’s merchandise at prices that can not be beaten.
Obviously, it looked to good to be true, but … what if it was real ?
Afterall, they even sent their adress in the email, and guess what, it’s just next door.
Indeed, we are in HuaQiangBei the famous Eletronic Market, a.k.a. SEG. Let’s have a closer look. “Room 2118, 21st floor, 122 Zhenxing Rd.”
It really does look real. But once you are facing it, an-only-12-floors’-building, it doesn’t look so exciting anymore.
The usual trick consists in sending the real thing as a sample. Sample that you pay at the real price of course. Real thing : real quality, the order is placed. But there are some clues that could arouse one’s curiosity like : “Inspecting the goods is not an option”.
Then two possible scenarios, either the seller disappear along with the prepayment or, if delivery indeed happens, the goods turn out to be fake or counterfeit.
To avoid product leakage, such companies as Apple have an incredibly high level of security on their supply chain. Thus, genuine cheap products are really unlikely to be found on the public market.
But still, if everything looks just good, and the company seems genuine, then just run a background check. If the results are convincing then you will know if a secured order is foreseable or not.
